Richard Feynman on Quantum Electrodynamics

Who better to learn quantum electrodynamics and Feynman diagrams with than the man himself? Most explanations of quantum physics go on and on about how “light behaves as both a particle and a wave” and how impossible and confusing this is and how amazed you should be that such a thing happens. While entertaining, this never helped me to gain an intuitive understanding of even the fundamental concepts at play.

These lectures, on the other hand, really dig into what is happening and explain particle interactions without insane math formulas or obtuse 3D animations. If you can understand modulus arithmetic or the interactions between clocks and calendars, you’ll be able to absorb something from these lectures.

Also worth noting, this is a master class on being humble. Feynman goes on about this subject for hours without mentioning that he discovered much of it, how groundbreaking it was, or that a major component of what he’s teaching is named after himself.
